2 jobs in one post this week! Morris brothers tackled some smaller work scope of job 1 included cabinet hardware replacement from old brass to new sleek black handles and bars, also on this job we tore out and replaced 4 light fixtures in 4 different rooms!

Job 2 is a garage entry door replacement going from an old hollow core door with old brass hardware to a new solid steel fire rated door with all new hardware, including installing a new deadbolt for added security!

Last weekend Morris brothers got to work with their paint brushes on an exterior job! Scope of work included repairing/restoring 8 shutters fully repainted with color matched paint rated to hold up against this harsh Pennsylvania weather as well as 2 fully replaced that were previously damaged. We also painted 4 headers on the front of the residence also color matched to preserve. Such a small detail can give off the perfect updated and simple touch to name your home feel bright and new again! This past week Morris Brother’s got to work and completed a project for a reoccurring customer! Upstairs carpet was dark and old and they wanted something like the living room we had done for them! Scope of work included tearing out old carpet, 144sqft of new underlayment and flooring! Also tearing out old baseboards and replacing with new white painted square stock baseboards to give a modern updated look. During this time we also had installed over 20 new rocker switches and recpticles in the downstairs portion and this room of the home. New LED Dimmable Cabinet lights were also an addition on this project in the kitchen as well as new GFCI’s installed for updated code and protection in the long run! Wrapping up the week with another successful project in the books! Morris Brother’s tackled a custom laundry room renovation/update, scope of work included, demo old shelving, drywall patching and smoothing, prime and paint walls, installing wainscoting, new trim work around boarder, custom shelving across front and in between a set of 2 new custom painted cabinets and finally brand new lines shutoffs and faucet for utility sink! This renovation brought this very dark and un colorful room into something functional while keeping a modern look for these homeowners! Later last week Morris brothers got to work building, hanging and properly sealing off an awning in front of customers home to complete the space and give them some shade to drink there morning coffee! We also tackled a downspouting clog issue/ draining into home basement issue replacing the old with newer color matched downs-pouting and re-routing it to drain away properly from the home preventing thier basment from pooling and keeping a clean look for the homeowners!

This week before Easter Morris Brothers were able to get this client taken care of. Multiple punch list items including playhouse re-roof with pressure treated lumber, fence gate swing fix, flashing install below front door egress, painting touch ups on counter trim, trim for 3 interior doors and handrail going to second level. New custom paint touch ups for lower cabinets as well as leveling the doors on the uppers and finally a temporary railing in basement stairwell. Punch list items were tackled and completed homeowner is planning to sell calling Morris bros in was the right choice for that final touch to make the place shine for selling. This weekend Morris Brother’s was lighting up the studio💡! Back down at Golden Laurel Piercing we demoed and re- installed brand new grid lighting. Six lights in the employees only area and eleven more out in lobby and both piercing rooms, as well as rest room totaling to 17 grid light replaced. We also took care of a bad gfci outlet and replaced with brand new outlet and cover. Morris Brother’s are excited to announce the completion of phase 4, the final phase of the living room renovation project! Scope of this phase included brand new laminate wood flooring installation with v***r barrier underlayment, over 70 sq ft of baseboard trim square stock, custom laminate step as well as trim work around step and mantle! All edges sealed to give a water tight barrier and hold up strong over the years. This full project is on our page if you want to see in between phases.
