Wildish recently celebrated another fantastic Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. This time it was for the Cottage Grove Main Street Grand Re-Opening!

Three ribbon-cutting ceremonies took place across Main Street, in front of the All-American Square in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The first one was to celebrate the folks who started the project, according to Public Works Director Faye Stewart.

The second was an appreciation for the workers who helped bring the concept to fruition.

“We also want to recognize Wildish and all of their subcontractors and the people that they worked with to get the project done. Nothing makes a bigger difference in a project like this than having a good local contractor that you’ve been working with,” said city manager Mike Sauerwein. “They were fantastic in working with all of the businesses and working with city staff. I can’t tell you how much they went out of their way to try to keep every business’s front door open and access to their business while construction was going on”

We greatly appreciate the kind words by both Public Works Director Faye Stewart and City Manager Mike Sauerwein. We look forward to the next successful project and collaboration with the City of Cottage Grove, Oregon.

🚧 Laura Street Upgrade – Springfield 🚧
Proud to be wrapping up the Laura Street Upgrade, a $2.5M Federal-Aid project delivered in partnership with Lane County Public Works. The only remaining work includes permanent pavement markings.

This project included full-depth reconstruction, drainage improvements, ADA curb ramps, concrete paving, signing, and roadside development — all executed under FHWA, Davis-Bacon, Buy America, and DBE requirements.

Strong field ex*****on + tight federal compliance = another corridor improved and built to last.

Great work by everyone who helped get this across the finish line.
