Rough fit up on the fun and challenging Wakazashi!

Try to improve everytime and attempted a more transitional Japanese fit up was great experience. Some details deviated, but overall not bad for a hobby guy and some hand filing!

With known chemistry this cake and possibly the previous have great potential to become Wootz.

Made a rough model on the new Wootz furnace build! My starter one doesn’t quite meet my needs. I’ll be able to determine my parts list and insulation cost to budget for.

Crucible sword survived HT!

I had issues forging this steel, decided it was best to not finish profiling and harden as is. Then grinding around the issues I discover.

To my surprise it didn’t blow up and I cannot wait to finish profiling it!
