🔺 Cats can resist hunger for up to a week on average, but no more than 2-3 days in case of thirst.

🔺 Cats are usually very clean, they are groomed several times a day, if you see a cat that is not clean, it is DEHYDRATED and has been so for many days.

Their saliva glands are not functioning properly, because they require moisture.!!!.

🔺 Please, if you see a stray kitten, apparently dirty, do not run, or look at it with disgust, it has already had difficult days.. In which I probably haven't eaten or drank any water for a long time!!!. If you don't like cats, express kindness out of compassion.!!

🔺 For humanity, empathy, and love for your neighbor, bring food and above all a container with WATER. It's not easy being thirsty and hungry and not being able to say a word! 💔🥺

Today, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over our quiet neighborhood, we stumbled upon a little dog. Abandoned, frightened, and shivering, he sat by the roadside, his eyes pleading for compassion. His fur was matted, and his ribs protruded, a testament to the hardships he had endured.

We couldn't turn away. Our hearts swelled with empathy as we approached him. The poor pup, with his tail tucked between his legs, seemed to understand that we meant no harm. He followed us hesitantly, as if testing our intentions. When we reached our home, he found solace behind the house—a secluded spot where he could rest, away from the bustling world that had let him down.

As the evening deepened, we watched him curl up, seeking warmth and safety. His vulnerability tugged at our souls. We knew we had to act swiftly. With gentle hands, we scooped him up, cradling him against our chests. His heartbeat echoed our own—a rhythm of hope and resilience.

Inside, we offered him food and water. His gratitude was palpable; he devoured the kibble as if it were a feast fit for a king. And then, as if sensing that he was finally home, he settled onto a soft blanket, his eyes closing in trust. We named him Oliver—a name that held promises of love, care, and second chances.

Today, we're thrilled to announce that Oliver is officially part of our family. His transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. His coat now gleams, and his once-frightened eyes sparkle with gratitude. He follows us everywhere, a loyal companion who reminds us daily of the power of compassion.

Oliver's journey is a heartwarming reminder that kindness knows no bounds. It transcends species, bridges gaps, and heals wounds. As we watch him play in our backyard, chasing butterflies and basking in the sun, we're reminded that every abandoned soul deserves a chance—a chance to find love, safety, and a forever home.

So, to all those who pass by lonely dogs on the roadside, remember this: You might just be their lifeline—the bridge between despair and hope. 🐶❤️
