Our paving crews are in the best stretch of their year. Warm ground, long days, and mats that compact the way they are supposed to.

That is why we push for fall paving work to be booked in August, not October. Asphalt has to be worked while it is hot, and the window inside each day gets tighter as the nights cool. One rain day takes what is left.

Vanderbilt Place is back open in time for school.

This one took a lot of coordination to work around the weather and still hit the date. Couldn't have done it without Andru Davis running point on it start to finish. 👏

In 1976, the year America turned 200, Bob Byrne was sealing driveways to pay his way through college.

Not all commercial paving contractors are the same. Here's what to look for before you sign.

Years in business matters, but so does what those years taught them. Look for a contractor who owns their equipment, puts experienced superintendents on your project, understands material selection based on how the pavement will actually be used, and can self-perform most if not all of the work.

Make sure they're licensed, insured, and willing to stand behind their work with a warranty. If they're not offering that, keep looking.

We've been doing commercial paving since 1976. Doing the right thing and showing up prepared isn't something we talk about. It's how we've kept clients coming back for 50 years.
