Sophia ran away from her home around 6 pm when she saw an opportunity to exit out the door when a contractor was working at her house. Sophia lives right next to a busy street and was almost clipped by a woman driving home from work as she crossed the street. Sophia then saw a deer and started to go on a wild chase into the woods.

We arrived on site before 8 pm and launched the drone to search the many acres of forest. There were many deer in the forest foraging and eventually sighted Sophia in the thick dense area of bushes and pine trees. The woman who almost hit Sophia came back with her husband to search as she felt bad but was extremely relieved once we sighted her with the drone.

We guided Sophia's owner and the couple to the location where Sophia sat up and waited patiently until she heard the word cookie is when her tail started wagging at lightening speed with pure excitement in her.

She is now back home safe and sound. Thank you to the couple who came back to assist in the search and everyone in the community as well.

Welcome back Sophia

Coventry, RI

This morning, we received a call from Marissa after her dog Jada slipped out of the gate while an appliance was being delivered to the home.

Jada was seen several times throughout the morning near the house, and at one point she was literally right in front of them and kept her distance.

As soon as we arrived, we spotted Jada sitting under the scoreboard at a baseball field. Shirley brought rotisserie chicken to try and lure her in, and while Jada noticed the bowl, she never came close. Instead, she continued moving through the park and even tried to get into the tennis courts. Unfortunately, the gates were closed, had they been open, it could have been an easy opportunity to safely close her inside.

We tracked her from the air for a while before losing sight of her temporarily due to pouring rain and slight fog, which makes it a tad difficult. Eventually, we picked up a faint heat signature off the bike path and confirmed visually that it was Jada.

Trisha and Marissa were immediately sent to her location while we continued supporting from above. When Trisha spotted Jada sitting off the bike path, Jada saw her and came right over with her tail wagging in pure joy.

Jada is now back home safe and sound.

Welcome back, Jada.

Two dogs, Indie and Brook, went missing last Saturday. Indie was found yesterday after hearing her owner’s truck on the trail and immediately ran up to them, but Brook was still nowhere to be found. We couldn’t respond last night due to the rain, so we drove down to Harwich today and arrived around 4 PM.

There had been no sightings of Brook since Saturday, but we were confident she was still in the area around Thompson Dog Park in Harwich. After thoroughly searching the original areas, we relocated to another location. Within minutes of launching the drone at the new spot, we located Brook sleeping in the woods. She was approximately 290 feet from the main road.

Jennifer from Harwich Animal Control, along with Andrea from MDM, came in to assist with getting Brook safely out of the area. Brook barked at them constantly but never ran. They gave her treats, which she was very happy to have, as she likely had not eaten since Saturday.

Getting Brook out was not easy. The area had steep elevation changes and thick brush, which made it difficult for her to walk because of the arthritis in her back legs. The girls stopped every few feet to let her rest, but eventually they were able to get her safely out and into the vehicle.

Brook is now back home safe and sound with her owners and reunited with her pal Indie.

Thank you to Jennifer from Harwich animal control and Andrea from MDM for the assistance today.

Welcome home, Brook.

Ramona was recently adopted by her owners Harrison and Francesca 4 days ago and ran away yesterday morning from her Francesca when she lost her footing. Ramona ran into the dense swamp that is next to the apartment complex where they live. This worried Ramona's owners fearing that she may be stuck in the dense thick swamp areas as she was dragging leash. We made multiple passes but found nothing but deer and one black cat in grid 1.

We then went on to grid 2 and 3, but only found a homeless encampment. As we went on to grid 4, we saw Ramona stuck in someone's dense brush alongside a fence next to an abandoned warehouse. Her leash was stuck on some tools and was wrapped around some thorns.

We all relocated to her and assessed the area to confirm she has no where to go as it was property was fenced in and only had on way for her to get out which we secured.

It didn't take long for Harrison and Francesca to see Ramona for the first time as both of them were extremely exhausted but they eventually extracted her out of the area.

She is home safe and sound.

Welcome home Ramona

Belchertown, MA

We received a call last night around 7 pm from Sarah, Belchertown's ACO that Kalia, a 3 year old husky with no eyes went missing yesterday morning from her owners home. After spending the whole day with my family and hearing this case as soon as we got home, it was imperative that I needed to search for Kalia immediately and take the 2 hour drive to Belchertown.

We arrived on site around 11 pm and searched the vast area surrounding her home with many changes in terrain elevation and marshes all over the place. She has ran away before only to be found next door at the dump site but this time she was no where to be found.

Once we were satisfied with grid one completed and eliminating all possibilities of her being in the water or stuck in the swamplands, we relocated to launch the drone from Belchertown Animal Control property where we immediately saw Kalia sleeping on the train tracks. It turns out that the train tracks are active and that we need to immediately get the PD involved and have the owners daughter come on scene immediately.

A happy ending for Kalia and she had the whole community worried on her whereabouts. She is back home safe and sound. Thank you to Officer Brougham of Belchertown Police Department for coming out to assist in the search.

Welcome back Kalia
