Around the Dugan Rock collection, this one has earned the nickname “The Pirate Ship.”
This striking specimen is Crocoite from the Adelaide Mine in the Dundas Zeehan District of Tasmania, Australia.
Crocoite is known for its vivid orange-red crystal formations that almost look like sparks frozen in place. Pieces like this are part of what makes geology so fascinating — the earth creates structures that feel almost unreal.
