🚨☀️🚨☀️🚨☀️TIPS TUESDAY☀️🚨☀️🚨☀️🚨

A clean unit is an efficient unit!

Preventative maintenance can prevent unwarned service!!

Tools you’ll need:

Air conditioner coil cleaner (follow your air conditioner manufacturer’s recommendations when selecting a cleaning agent)
Vacuum cleaner with soft-brush attachment
Water hose with sprayer
Work clothes, gloves, and eye protection

Follow these steps:
How to Clean an Outside Air Conditioner Unit

Turn the thermostat to “off.”
Find the electrical disconnect (a metal box) near your outside unit, usually on an exterior wall.
Open the electrical disconnect and find the switch that turns off the air conditioner. This may be a pullout switch or a circuit breaker shutoff. Simply pull the plug out or flip the switch to the “off” position.
Use gloved hands to remove any large pieces of debris.
Delicately vacuum the condenser fins with a soft-brush attachment. Be careful not to bend any fins.
Use the water hose spray to clean off loose debris (grass, leaves, etc) on the outside unit.
Spray the outside unit with the coil cleaner.
Wait 10-15 minutes as the cleaner foams and bonds with the dirt on the coils.
Rinse the coil cleaner off with the hose.
Do this at least once a year, ideally once in the spring and once in the summer.

Annnnnndddd we are back!! Apparently, all of the excitement over our page caused quite the commotion over at FB 😂🤣 I assure all of you that we are very real people! (some might even say too real! 😅)

Well, now that is all said and done with we are back to our regularly scheduled programming! And with today being Monroe County Monday, we would love to go ahead and highlight one of our community resources!

The Monroe County Recreation Department is an invaluable asset to our community. If you have not ever gotten yourself or your children involved then the summer is a great time to do so! They will be releasing their Summer Camp schedule soon and we highly recommend trying them out! Landon Sparks has made some amazing improvements to the facilities and the programs. We can not speak highly enough of him and all of the work he has put into this community! So go check out the page or stop by the office to see what all is going on and what ways your family can enjoy this community center! While you're there don't forget to see what ways you can get involved in helping with our youth programs!
