Remodel of Rental home in Dallas - A house may look beyond repair to most, but as I do my first walk through, I see the end result. This house was brought back to the studs, raised the floor in the den (used to be a garage), added a master bedroom and bath, and a laundry room using the existing floor plan, new electrical etc. I sometimes don’t even realize the transformations until I’m scrolling through pictures on my phone. This may not be a custom home, but it is a good solid house, with the new home smell, that will be ‘home’ to the family that rents it.

Almost a year later, and this porch still looks good! There’s a before in the pictures. Thanks again Maria García!

A few weeks into this build in Fort Worth!! Framing is almost complete, windows and doors are in. Our framing crew led by Sal, only started last Wednesday!! (The 3ft section near the bottom of the exterior walls will be brick to serve as a wainscot to the board and batten siding.) We can build this or any design for you. This house $220k on your lot.

drylakeroofing.com is hard at work! On this roof we re-flashed (3) skylights, added a cricket to the chimney, new flashing and custom counter flashing. The flat roof pictured had no over hang so we framed a small 3” overhang, then covered it with 1x6, soffit, trim and siding. We also, cancelled out (2) turbines and installed a along the ridge line to help keep the attic cooler during warm weather. The rest of the home got a fresh layer of architectural shingle, Timberline - W. Wood - Limited Lifetime shingle, the flat roof also Liberty Cap Sheet and anti moisture base. This job reminded me of a cowboy replacing horseshoes on a horse; the cleaning of the hooves, the trimming and finally the new horseshoe and nail. There was a lot of detail work done simply because the roof has been doing its thing for years under the
