Jeff’s welding abilities have come in handy on a few race cars lately.

Last night, he even got the chance to drive one (Crown Vic) and had an absolute blast! Thanks, Randy Moore, for letting him have the driver’s seat for a night!

Lately, we’ve gotten into a pretty good rotation - drop off a project at powder coat while picking up a completed one.

This one was picked up and installed today while another project was dropped off.

Now we’re hoping to have the next one finished just in time for that “READY FOR PICKUP” call!

Little by little, keep moving forward.

Also, it’s been awhile, so shoutout to Powder Coat Plus Quincy for always being the best to work with!

Apparently Jeff only remembers to take pictures of derby roof signs…priorities.

Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes at C&L:

🔧 Stainless steel sink modification — completed
🌱 Land rake — completed
🚪 Gates hung — pictures to come!
🏡 Residential railing — ready for installation next week
🏢 Commercial railing — ready to head to powder coat
🛠️ Small repairs — mixed in with the custom fabrication projects

So here’s a couple of those signs while we wait on the rest of the project pictures.

Jeff was on-site today working on railing when he gained a little helper.

This little guy was fascinated by the welding helmet and wanted to see what it was all about.

So much of running a business revolves around numbers…quotes, invoices, payroll, and making a living. And yes, those things matter.

But moments like this?

They’re the kind you can’t put a price tag on.

I think he may just need a helmet of his own.

These custom gates are officially headed to powder coating, and I can’t wait to show you the finished product…they’re going to look incredible! 🤩

Jeff installed the Ghost Controls automatic gate opener today, and it’s a pretty slick setup. A big thank you to David Wilhoit for getting it ordered.
