Heating with electricity in the winter makes about the same sense as grilling a steak with electricity - sometimes you just need propane 😎. Last winter, heating an equivalent household with electricity rather than propane would have cost more than double.

This is an awesome project that the Rogers Refrigeration, Inc. team took on to help a veteran. When they realized they needed propane, we were honored to be able to help the cause!

The wait is over, and our hearts are incredibly full. We are absolutely thrilled to announce that this year’s "Operation: Comfort" recipient is Corporal Tony Simon Jr., U.S. Marine Corps!

Tony bought his first home in 2024, only to have it hit by the Portage tornado weeks later. Then, his furnace gave out during the winter of 2025. Through it all, Tony has quietly gotten by with temporary heaters without ever complaining, always remaining the reliable friend who opens his door to others in need. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him and give back to a hardworking veteran who has given so much to the people around him!

Wednesday was "Propane Day" at the Capitol Building in Lansing. We talked with Representatives and Senators to advocate for propane. The founder of Excel Propane is so good at this, he got his own video 😎
