🚧 PROJECT UPDATE | PREPARING FOR DEMOLITION 🚧
Before demolition begins, the groundwork has to be done! 💪🏼
Our crew at TW&M has been hard at work preparing this site for the upcoming demolition of an existing building and surrounding concrete areas.
A project of this size requires more than just bringing in heavy equipment. Proper planning, utility coordination, and site preparation are essential to getting the job done safely and efficiently.
🚜 Current site preparation includes:
🔹 Utility Rerouting – Excavating and preparing new utility routes to relocate existing underground services out of the demolition area.
🔹 Trenching & Excavation – Opening trenches for utility relocation and preparing the surrounding areas for the next phase of construction.
🔹 Site Preparation – Clearing and organizing work areas, identifying existing infrastructure, and establishing safe access for equipment and crews.
🔹 Demolition Planning – Preparing for the controlled removal of the existing structure and designated concrete surfaces while protecting surrounding facilities and utilities.
🔹 Coordination & Safety – Working through the necessary steps to minimize disruptions to nearby operations and ensure the site is ready for demolition.
The work you don’t always see is just as important as the work you do!
Every trench, every utility reroute, and every step of preparation plays a role in making the demolition process safer, smoother, and more efficient.
We’re looking forward to seeing this project progress from site preparation to demolition and beyond!
