At Polaris Genomics, we are committed to bringing greater objectivity and biological insight into the diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions.

Our neuropsychiatric biomarker platform is designed to support CNS drug development—particularly in areas such as PTSD, depression, and traumatic brain injury (TBI). By combining genomics with advanced artificial intelligence, we aim to uncover the biological underpinnings of mental health and enable more precise diagnostics and therapeutics.

At the core of our work is the ADAPT Neuropsychiatric Biomarker Discovery Platform™, which integrates a targeted gene panel with deep analytics to generate actionable biomarker signatures from simple blood samples.

We are actively seeking to engage with mid-sized pharmaceutical companies, especially those in the early stages of psychedelic drug development, for both short-term projects and long-term strategic collaborations.

If you are interested in exploring a potential partnership, feel free to reach out to our Director of Strategic Partnerships to arrange an introductory discussion with our science team. Inquire with Sudhama Swamy at [email protected].

We believe it’s time to fundamentally change how mental health conditions are addressed, diagnosed, and treated—and we welcome like-minded partners on this journey.

Women are twice as likely as men to experience anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety and panic disorder, reflecting a complex interplay of hormonal biology, stress exposure, and social determinants of health. (Psychiatry) Through the ADAPT Platform, Polaris Genomics is working to identify neuropsychiatric biomarkers that can support better research models, enable drug discovery, and advance precision companion diagnostics for conditions like anxiety.

Women's history and women's present: Did you know depression is the most common mental health condition among women? Women experience major depressive disorder at roughly twice the rate of men. Biological, hormonal, and social stressors all contribute and underscore the need for objective insights. Polaris Genomics' ADAPT Platform is designed for biomarker discovery and utilization for mental health research, diagnostics, and treatment. https://polarisgenomics.com/our-platform/adapt/

This Women’s History Month, we’re proud to spotlight our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Anne Naclerio, whose leadership is helping advance biomarker-driven approaches to neuropsychiatric health. Women represent a growing force in biomedical innovation, yet they remain underrepresented in senior leadership across biotech and pharma. At Polaris Genomics, leaders like Anne are guiding the development of the ADAPT Platform to accelerate discovery of objective biomarkers that can transform how mental health conditions are studied, diagnosed, and treated. Learn more about Anne’s extensive experience here: https://polarisgenomics.com/about-us/

Women’s history - and lived experience - we should all talk more about: Did you know women are about twice as likely as men to develop PTSD, with lifetime prevalence around 8% in women vs. 4% in men? It is often linked to higher exposure to trauma types such as sexual assault or intimate partner violence.

Polaris Genomics’ first-of-its-kind product, PTS-ID™, is an objective and biomarker based PTSD screening tool. PTS-ID™ is 2-3 times more sensitive to measures indicative of PTSD than current self-report measures alone. We're committed to reducing suffering in silence.

Wrapping up American Heart Month, we hope to spread awareness that PTSD significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease—comparable to risks from smoking or high cholesterol—by triggering chronic stress, high blood pressure, inflammation, and heart rate variability. Individuals with PTSD have a ~50% higher risk of heart failure and a doubled risk of stroke. This Harvard Medical School article explores therapies and methods for stress reduction: https://www.health.harvard.edu/heart-health/when-fear-strikes-the-heart-post-traumatic-stress-disorder

Our week-long visit to healthcare events in was nothing short of energizing. The Future of Mental Health Care looks incredibly promising—and massive—in the Middle East. To put this to context, there were nearly 800 exhibitors from over 40 countries and welcome more than 35,000 professional visits.

From advanced diagnostics innovators to lab equipment suppliers representing the breadth of the region, the diversity and quality of exhibitors was impressive. More importantly, the conversations were purposeful. There is a clear hunger across the MENA region to offer robust diagnostic solutions for mental health conditions and to build population-scale genomics programs tailored to regional needs.

We met multiple potential partners who are not only commercially motivated, but mission-driven—seeking to transform healthcare delivery through precision and . The momentum is real, and the timing is right.

The growth potential in Abu Dhabi and Dubai is particularly striking. The infrastructure, regulatory forward-thinking, and investment appetite create a uniquely fertile ground for scaling precision medicine initiatives.

A highlight of the visit was touring Free Zone, which stands as a symbol of innovation-driven economic development. Seeing firsthand how life sciences and biotech companies are being supported reinforced our confidence that this region is building for long-term impact.

It was also meaningful visit for Tshaka Cunningham, our Chief of R&D, Charles Cathlin, our CEO, and Sudhama Swamy, our Director of Strategic Partnerships, who experienced in real time the depth of opportunity to grow Polaris Genomics through strategic regional partnerships.

Now it is about taking those small, deliberate steps that can translate into meaningful, long-term impact.

Polaris Genomics is here to stay in this region—and to grow—in the Middle East. The week was not just exciting; it was an eye-opener to the scale of transformation underway.

Wait and watch for more exciting news from us in the coming weeks.

We're engaging with the global scientific community and investors again next week! We're traveling to WHX Dubai for a series of strategic meetings focused on advancing innovation in mental health. Our discussions will center on expanding neuropsychiatric initiatives and forming meaningful partnerships across research, clinical development, and commercialization.

We welcome the opportunity to connect during the conference—whether to exchange perspectives or explore potential collaborations—and discuss how ADAPT, our neuropsychiatric biomarker platform can support and accelerate mental health research, clinical programs, and investment strategies.

Please feel free to reach out: [email protected] to schedule a meeting or an introductory conversation. Learn more at Polarisgenomics.com/invest.

On the heels of , we head to February 9-12; now is the time to align with Polaris. Our team is dedicated to advancing how neuropsychiatric conditions are assessed, diagnosed, and treated by linking mental health with its underlying biology. If you’re in the mental health space, let’s connect. Sudhama Swamy, Director of Strategic Partnerships is ready to meet with you: [email protected].

As a proof of concept, using our ADAPT Platform™ we developed a first-of-its-kind blood test for PTSD screening and triage, PTS-ID™. Clinically, biomarker-based diagnostics increase diagnostic accuracy and reduce the time it takes to match patients with effective therapies.

Neuro-focused friends, partners, and fellow researchers, read this article: "Clinical features and genetic mechanisms of anxiety, fear, and avoidance: A comprehensive review of five anxiety disorders."

The ADAPT Platform has the potential to expand upon this research: Our bioinformatics engine analyzes genetic association, transcriptomic, and clinical phenotypic data, defining RNA expression profiles correlated with neuropsychiatric conditions and treatment response. These profiles, tied to 1000+ specific genomic biomarker targets for mental and brain health, are accessible to researchers through the ADAPT Platform™, a targeted panel that measures RNA transcripts from blood samples. ADAPT curates information on biologically-relevant gene network pathways indicated in neuropsychiatric conditions, including anxiety, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in mental and brain health R&D.
