Did you know a barrel of oil is 42 gallons, but it actually produces between 45 and 48 gallons of usable product once it's been refined?
Well, let's Learn With Lyrics together! 😁 😁

When refined, that 42-gallon barrel is broken down into various products, with roughly 70-80% of it typically converted into transportation fuels (gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel).
So the average 42-Gallon Barrel ACTUALLY yields:
**Motor Gasoline: ~19–20 gallons
**Distillate Fuel (Diesel/Heating Oil): ~11–13 gallons
**Jet Fuel: ~3–4 gallons
**Other Products: ~9–12 gallons (hydrocarbon gas liquids, asphalt, lubricants, petrochemical feedstocks)
And now you know!
