We’re proud to recognize Jake as Recore Electric’s Power Performer for the month of September!⚡

Jake has been a valued member of the Recore team for 16 years and currently serves as an electrical superintendent. For the past 13 years, he has handled electrical work, taking on everything from conduit and cable tray installations to large wire pulls, controls, CAT6, and everything in between.

Jake’s inspiration to enter the electrical field came from his dad. Throughout his career, he has built his knowledge and experience through hands-on, on-the-job training and a willingness to keep learning.

For those just starting out in the electrical field, Jake’s advice is to stick with it and take every opportunity to learn. Put in your time doing the tasks no one else wants to do, learn as much as you can, and the work will become easier with experience.

It was a pleasure welcoming 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to Recore Electric for an open house and tour of our campus.

Our team had the opportunity to show the Gray team around our newly renovated offices, as well as our Power Systems, RCT, and Engineering Services building, and give them a closer look at the people and capabilities behind Recore.

One of the highlights of the visit was gathering for a photo with 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸 — a great reminder of where we started and how much Recore Electric has grown over the years.

𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 ⚡

To most people, this might look like rows and rows of conduit.

To us, it shows something much more: 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁.

Take a closer look at these actual Recore Electric installations. Consistent bends. Clean spacing. Parallel runs. Organized transitions. Proper support. And routing designed to bring a large amount of electrical infrastructure together without turning the ceiling into a maze.

There’s a lot of work behind making an installation look this simple.

And while clean conduit is great to look at, craftsmanship like this goes beyond appearance. An organized installation makes systems easier to identify, maintain, troubleshoot, and work around for years to come.

We're grateful for organizations like Queen City Robotics Alliance that are inspiring students and strengthening the community. Thank you for everything you do, and for the opportunity to support your mission and the future workforce.

Thank you to Recore Electric for supporting QCRA through an in-kind donation connected to our Hops & Bots fundraiser.

Their donation of exit signs and other electrical materials helped make our facility safer and supported the continued development of our machining center. These behind-the-scenes improvements are essential to creating a safe, functional place where students can build, learn, and gain hands-on experience.

Support like this helps QCRA provide more students with access to robotics, engineering, advanced manufacturing, and other STEM opportunities.
