This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 🎾

The Recore Electric team was in Charlotte joining Haskell Construction for the Queen City Invitational benefiting 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲—an organization that builds and delivers beds for children who don’t have one to sleep on.

What made this event stand out was the atmosphere. It created an opportunity for people across the industry to connect in a more relaxed, interactive setting while supporting a meaningful cause.

The event raised $17,500 for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which organizers shared will 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝟳𝟬 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱.

We had two Recore teams competing in the tournament while the rest of our crew cheered them on and connected with the Haskell team throughout the day.

Big thanks to the Haskell team for hosting such a great event and supporting an incredible cause.

Recore Electric hosted one of our many great business partners, McNaughton-McKay, at our new Engineering, RCT, and Power Systems office/shop yesterday across the street from our main office.

The visit began with introductions and breakfast in our new training room, designed to accommodate larger meetings and collaborative gatherings, followed by a tour of Recore’s new fabrication and assembly shop.

Throughout the morning, we had productive discussions focused on strengthening our partnership and enhancing the way we support our customers with electrical materials, gear, and service solutions.

Time spent together like this strengthens communication, builds collaboration, and ultimately leads to better service for our customers.

We appreciate McNaughton-McKay taking the time to visit and look forward to continuing our partnership!

We’re proud to recognize Michael as Recore Electric’s Power Performer for the month of May!⚡

Michael has been a valued member of the Recore team for 2 years and serves as a Drafter/BIM Designer on our Engineering team, supporting both our project managers and field teams through detailed drawings and 3D models.

A graduate of East Texas A&M University with a degree in organizational leadership. Michael initially took drafting as an elective. He never imagined pursuing drafting as a career, but Michael said that God put the opportunity in front of him and that it has been a true blessing over the past two years.

Inspired by his mother, a teacher, Michael has always felt drawn to teaching. He had the opportunity to step into a drafting teacher role at a local high school, where he discovered a passion for helping others learn. That experience also showed him how much he could grow by learning from more experienced drafters, leading him to pursue drafting full-time. With God opening the door and his fiancée’s encouragement, he joined Recore, where he continues to grow.

Michael’s advice for someone just starting in this field is to surround yourself with people who challenge you and deepen your understanding of your work —something far more valuable than most realize. Find people who push you to be better and learn as much as possible from them. He adds that he wouldn’t be able to do what he does without his team.
