As temperatures rise, many facilities are bringing in temporary air conditioners and chillers to keep operations running smoothly.

While the equipment gets most of the attention, the temporary power cables supporting it are just as important.

We’re proud to recognize Jonathan as Recore Electric’s Power Performer for the month of June!⚡

Jonathan has been a valued member of the Recore team for 3 years and currently serves as a field technician in our Communications & Technology Department. In his role, he installs network cabinets, cameras, access control systems, and wireless access points.

Inspired by his cousin at a young age, Jonathan began his career as an electrician before joining Recore Electric’s Low Voltage crew. Through the support and encouragement of his coworkers, he discovered a passion for communications and technology and has continued to grow in that field over the past three years.

His advice for someone just starting in this field is to surround yourself with people who are willing to teach you and show you how the industry really works. Be patient in this industry, because there’s always something new to learn. Ask questions when you don’t understand. Work hard and stay focused on your goals. Believe in yourself and God, and you can overcome any obstacle along the way.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten.

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 🎾

The Recore Electric team was in Charlotte joining Haskell Construction for the Queen City Invitational benefiting 𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲—an organization that builds and delivers beds for children who don’t have one to sleep on.

What made this event stand out was the atmosphere. It created an opportunity for people across the industry to connect in a more relaxed, interactive setting while supporting a meaningful cause.

The event raised $17,500 for Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which organizers shared will 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝟳𝟬 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱.

We had two Recore teams competing in the tournament while the rest of our crew cheered them on and connected with the Haskell team throughout the day.

Big thanks to the Haskell team for hosting such a great event and supporting an incredible cause.
