The only change is we poured footers for the 6 x 6 post and went with timber Tech coconut, husk deck boards with black aluminum railing and eliminated the stairs and the customer wanted a ramp on the other side closest to the garage  some before pics in the comments and a video

This job I had to replace some beams, add hanger to every joist,put a couple new Post in for extra support and new decking. Big ice jams came off their roof and collapse the deck. wasn’t built properly a few years ago.
