🍂 Good evening, neighbors! Happy September!

We made it through August! 🥵☀️

September may be here, but Central Texas isn't done with summer just yet. We've still got plenty of warm days ahead of us—but hopefully, the most intense heat of the year is starting to make its way into the rearview mirror. 😎

As we head into a new month, remember that your AC has been working hard all summer too! If you've noticed it running longer than usual, struggling to keep certain rooms comfortable, or just not performing quite like it did at the beginning of summer, don't ignore it simply because September has arrived. There's still plenty of cooling season left in Texas! ❄️

Now we want to hear from you!

❄️ While cooling hot spaces has a long—and interesting—history, air conditioning as we know it changed forever when Willis Carrier designed the first modern air-conditioning system in 1902.

And here's the interesting part: it wasn't originally designed to keep people cool!

Carrier devised the system to solve a humidity problem at a Brooklyn printing plant, where changes in heat and humidity were interfering with the printing process. His work eventually led to his patented “Apparatus for Treating Air” and helped lay the foundation for modern air conditioning.

National Dog Day isn’t just about celebrating the dogs we love. It’s also a great opportunity to support dogs still waiting for a family of their own.
