The sweet water River has some of the prettiest places to find rich gems. Look close at the pictures and you will see what I mean. What can spot in the dirt?

Found this near Salmon Idaho last summer and has some of the prettiest little crystals running through it. My kids say it looks like bacon!

These came out of the badlands in Wyoming this fall. Its such an interesting place to explore and huge varieties of stones that erode and wash down from the clay pillars. I don't have all them identified yet so share if you see something you like!

Ive heard back from several people who have found stuff in it using UV lights which is fun to know. Makes for a great christmas gift for those rock / gem lovers
So if you know anyone who wants some Extra rich garnet gravel and a fun winter project. There’s also a bit of Montana sapphire gravel mixed in as well, so there’s definitely some potential for small Montana blue sapphires and other heavies. It’s great for gem panning, practice gold panning, or just something relaxing to pick through on a cold day.
The material comes from Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Most stones are on the smaller side, but I’ve personally found gems up to about 1.5 carat stones in it.
I’m asking $30 for 10 lbs or $3 per pound plus shipping. I can send it in flat-rate boxes which i fit up to 25 lbs in and ships anywhere in the US for $22.
