One year ago today started the first day on my own. What a year it’s been! From finding a truck for the rig, driving the truck to Texas to have the rig built, flying down a month later and driving it home! Acquiring my license to service water wells, learning all about the costs of owning a business, insurance, workman’s comp, unemployment, TAXES . Ugh! To being voted in as director at large for the Wyoming groundwater association, sitting in on a meeting in Cheyenne and discussing future rules and regulations for water wells in Wyoming, and meeting and working for many many customers. It’s been great! Thank you to all my customers that have trusted me with their water wells. Also A big thank you to Ruby drilling, Amos drilling, Paul Odekoven, water systems drilling and Matheson drilling for the referrals!! Also very thankful for Paul mitts, Jeff Walleizer, Bill Williams and Steve Barbour for their endless knowledge in this field and always willing to help. They are truly appreciated. It was an awesome year and looking forward to the second year! And Possibly……. a second rig…… 🤔.

A cracked plastic coupling landed this pump, pipe and wire at the bottom of this 540ft well. With our fishing tools we were able to get it all out in less than an hour.

We went back in with schedule 120 pvc drop pipe with stainless couplings, an American made flint and walling pump paired to a Franklin motor, all new wire, check valves, and stainless steel fittings into the pitless adaptor. Done right and ready to supply this customer with reliable water for years to come. Call us for all your water well needs or just to talk about questions you may have about your water system.

Suns out but sitting at about -15 with the wind on this high ridge. Not much of anything for as far as you can see, just one home and a dragline. The cold temps caused some issues with this well, customer called and said they would have to move his cows quite a ways if the well wasn’t fixed soon. We were out the next morning. Got things thawed out, inspected the weep hole on the drop pipe, re-plumbed the well head, insulated the discharge pipe and exposed well casing and then a thorough pump test to make sure everything was good to go. No water? No problem!

Where there was none, now there is some… With the power of the sun! This customer had to use a generator if he wanted water at this tank. We installed the well known helical rotor Grundfos solar pump with 2- 385 watt solar panels. This system will produce 1200 to almost 2000 gallons a day depending on the time of year and will still produce water with cloud cover.
