Two bathrooms, two different moods from our recent Cumberland renovation. ✨

🌿 Bathroom 1: Simple, calm, and natural.
→ Soft green, brass, and warm wood tones
→ 12×24 shower tile for fewer grout lines and easier cleaning

💙 Bathroom 2: A little bolder.
→ Deep blues paired with rich wood tones
→ A guest bathroom with less daily use gave us room to get a little more creative

Different personalities, each designed around how the space will be used. 🤍

Thoughtful design. Beautiful details. Spaces that feel like home. 🤍

At Coastal Construction & Design, we bring it all together—from the first idea to the finishing touches.

We handle the architectural plans, the entire design, the entire build, and furniture/decor.

We are almost completely booked for 2027, but we are definitely booking 2028. If you’re thinking about a new build, we need to book that at least 7-10 months out. Large scale renovations are generally booked 4-7 months out.

For this children’s area, I kept coming back to soft curves:

🤍 Beaded molding
🤍 Scalloped pendants
🤍 Scalloped trim

Repeating those rounded shapes ties everything together and gives the space a whimsical, playful feel.

A sweet little spot for big imaginations. 🧸

This little nook almost didn’t exist. 🥹

We could have closed off this section of the second floor. Instead, we added a dormer to create usable space—and gave it every bit of attention it deserved.

→ A custom window seat for curling up with a book 📚
→ Open storage underneath for books and toys
→ Scalloped trim paired with the sweetest scalloped light
→ Beaded molding to give simple shaker doors a little extra charm
→ A peaceful blue that brings it all together 💙

Sometimes, the spaces you almost overlook become the ones you love most.

The kind of guest room that makes you stay a little longer. 🤍

We added rounded wall trim for a soft, classic detail and chose a light blue that feels happy in the daylight and calm when it’s time to wind down. Paired with warm wood and cozy layers, this room feels welcoming from the moment you walk in.

Because a guest bedroom should feel just as thoughtfully designed as the rest of your home.

• The 60” x 36” base weighs 200 pounds!

• Made from engineered stone containing more than 60% natural stone.

• Comes in 16 different sizes.

Need a home office but short on space? This long, narrow room had more potential than you’d think. 👀

We designed this office around how our client actually works—with plenty of desktop space for multiple monitors and room to spread out. The former bedroom closet became open storage for his books, with a spot to tuck the printer away.

Glass pocket doors let the light flow through—and close when it’s time to get down to business.

Every inch has a purpose. Save this for your home office inspiration! ✨
