The highly anticipated Five Points roundabout in Grand Island is now complete and opening today! This week our crew finalized the finishing touches with sod installation and striping signs.

It has been great to see the progress come together and a big thank you is due to our crews who have worked diligently on this project.

As well as our various subcontractors, All Roads Barricade, Ramos Brothers Excavating, Ensley Electric, Jamico Construction and Tilley Sprinklers, their close coordination throughout the entire process made it all possible.

North Road – Old Potash to Highway 30. Last phase of mainline paving was placed on 6/1/2023.

**MAJOR MILESTONE**: All of the North Road mainline paving is now complete between Highway 30 and Highway 2.

Thank you to the citizens for Grand Island for passage of the ½ cent sales tax, which made this accomplishment a reality!!!

Over the last few months, our team has been able to service York County to replace the Blackburn Bridge. Last week our crew set a total of 19 “inverted t” style girders for the bridge. The girders are placed on the abutment caps, on the “h” pile and were then driven 95ft. into the ground. We are looking forward to the next few weeks where we will get the turndowns and grade beams built along with pouring the concrete for the bridge deck!

A fun fact for those who don’t know, each of the girders weigh a total of 27,000 pounds and are 86 ft. in length!

Our crew has been working hard on North Road and as of today the mainline is complete! We will be completing the remaining intersections, driveways and sidewalks over the next month!
