Interesting things about drinking water! This is the Hay House in Macon.

This was the water source for the Hay House. It was on the far corner of the estate property. It had/has a tunnel that was used by the Hay House staff to take and bring produce, w**e, and milk that was kept cool in the Spring House, to the main house kitchen. The water in the spring house stays 74 degrees year round. In the 1830 hot summers a 74 degree drink of water was a big deal. The water is still pure and very good drinking water.
