There is a compelling need for alterna
tives to corn ethanol and cellulosic ethanol made from crop wastes. The problems of corn ethanol are well understood. What's more, investments in corn ethanol and cellulosic ethanol production have not performed. Ethanol requires a government subsidy to be profitable to produce. America needs to move on from fermenting food crops into ethanol. Fermentation of ethanol should only be for making beer! But not fuel. We advocate production of a new, cleaner and more powerful fuel, and fuel production technology which cleanly converts all types of municipal wastes, agri-wastes and non-crop biomass into a market-ready clean fuel. Fuel that can be made profitably at a facility near you, by people in your community, and used (driven and enjoyed) by your community. It's not just a better alcohol fuel compared to ethanol. It's a cleaner fuel that can be made more profitably than refining oil into gasoline and diesel.
