π¨ Gloss vs. Satin vs. Flat vs. Textured β Which Finish Is Right for You?
One of the most common questions we get is "what finish should I go with?" Here's a quick breakdown to help you decide before you ever pick up the phone.
β¨ GLOSS
High shine, mirror-like look. Colors pop and it photographs beautifully. Great for show bikes, wheels, patio furniture, and anything you want to turn heads. Keep in mind β gloss does show fingerprints and surface imperfections more than other finishes.
π
SATIN
The sweet spot for most jobs. A soft sheen that looks clean and professional without being flashy. Hides minor surface imperfections better than gloss and holds up great on daily drivers, frames, industrial parts, and signs. This is our most popular finish for a reason.
β¬ Flat
Flat, no-shine, aggressive look. Perfect for that murdered-out style or anything where you want a raw, tactical appearance. Also great at hiding surface texture. Just know that matte can be harder to touch up if it gets scuffed.
π© TEXTURED
Wrinkle, hammer, or rough-grit textures that add grip and hide surface flaws better than any other finish. Ideal for brackets, frames, toolboxes, and industrial parts that take a beating. Looks intentional, not just functional.
