Our office is located in Grimes, IA. We service the surrounding area so job locations will vary. You will report to the office and drive to the jobsite in the work vehicle
As a Foreman you are in charge of the job site and crew members can expect to:
· Lead the crew to erect Pre-Engineered Post Frame Structure
· Work on other custom projects like homes and other buildings, so you must enjoy a variety of work
· Maintain high level of quality for projects.
· Provide guidance and training for framer’s and construction laborers on work needed to be performed.
· Work outdoors
· Fast Paced environment, see progress take shape quickly and meet deadlines
· Operate hand & power tools.
· Ensure Compliance with safety regulations and use of PPE for projects
· Ensure that the job site is clean and tidy for safety and professionalism
· Ensure accuracy and quality of work being performed.
· Work from ladders and aerial work platforms up to 35 feet off the ground
Requirements
· Experience with post frame prints and construction is a must.
· Knowledge of all construction principles and methods
· Able to oversee and manage a team to perform at their best
· Able to read a tape measure and communicate measurements to others
· Able to read instructions and blueprints
· Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
· Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
· High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule and Compensation/Benefits
· Standard Work Week: Monday-Friday; Weekend work may be a possibility determined by season, weather, deadlines, and availability of work
