During routine maintenance on a belt using a clamping system, Mykel noticed that the system’s hook was stretched beyond safe use. He ensured that the come-along was promptly tagged out of service so that the hook could be replaced.

Thank you, Mykel, for your observation and action to ensure one of our tools was safe for team members to use!

⏪We really packed a lot of good memories into 2025, but this one stands out! 🎒Back in August, we had the joy of dropping off 100 backpacks for Washington County Public Schools WCPS Early Learning Pre-K Students. Supporting our community is always a highlight for the SGI team 💛

This time last week, Senior Director of Human Resources Amy Popoff and Manager of Talent & Engagement Claire Kieffer delivered 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to WCPS Early Learning at Washington County Public Schools. Here's to helping students start the new school year in style! 🎒
