Texas hospitality always starts with an introduction. I'm Tommy Goforth and reside in East Texas doing what I love—building homes.

My wife Allison and I enjoy our six wonderful kids, who inspire us to be great parents. I hope the home that we build for you will provide you with a place to foster cherished memories. At Goforth Custom Builders, we know you want a beautiful place to call home, built with integrity and designed for life. As a family-owned business with down-to-earth East Texas values, we step into each project with care, transparency, and a commitment in helping you create a home that will last a lifetime. We get it, building a new home can feel overwhelming. It’s a huge investment, both financially and emotionally, and the stakes are high. But we believe in helping you navigate each step with gentle guidance and supporting your vision from day one. The process should matter just as much as the outcome. From first ideas to final touches, we can’t wait to walk with you in building a beautiful home, designed for a lifetime of memories.

This Henderson home keeps it simple outside: a white exterior with a black roof and black windows. Then the same contrast carries inside.

The primary bath pairs a freestanding tub with black-framed glass and gold fixtures. In the kitchen, tall black cabinet doors get long gold pulls. The porch ceiling is wood plank against black board and batten, and the front entry is a pair of black-framed glass doors.

Holding one look through the whole house takes planning before the first selection is made. If you're comparing custom home builders in East Texas, swipe through and then give us a call at 903-424-6589.

Pour day on this Marshall duplex build started in the dark. The pump truck was set up and the lights were on before 6 AM, and by the time the sun cleared the trees the crew had the first slab poured and was screeding it.

Early pours are common here for a reason. Cooler morning air gives the finishers more working time before the concrete starts to set, and in Texas heat that time matters.

Have land in East Texas and ready to build something that's truly yours?

Acreage home construction gives homeowners the opportunity to create a house around their property, lifestyle, space requirements, and long-term plans instead of trying to fit into an existing home.

Goforth Custom Builders provides custom home construction for Hallsville and surrounding East Texas communities, including projects designed for larger lots and rural properties.

The land around your home is part of the project too.

Access, drainage, equipment placement, outdoor areas, driveways, grading, and how the home sits on the property can all influence the finished result.

For acreage and rural home builds in East Texas, thoughtful site planning becomes especially important because every property presents different opportunities and challenges.

Beautiful finishes are important, but quality construction begins much earlier.

Behind the drywall and finished surfaces are the framing, structural components, mechanical systems, and countless details that shape how the home comes together.

Goforth Custom Builders focuses on the entire construction process, not only what homeowners see when the project is complete.

Luxury doesn't always mean adding more. Sometimes it means creating a bathroom that feels comfortable, organized, functional, and thoughtfully designed every time you use it.

Custom showers, freestanding tubs, tile selections, fixtures, storage, lighting, and layout can turn an everyday space into one of the most enjoyable rooms in the home.

Goforth Custom Builders creates custom homes throughout Hallsville and East Texas with spaces designed around the homeowner's lifestyle.

This is the stage where drawings begin turning into real rooms.

Framing defines the layout, ceiling heights, openings, hallways, and overall flow of a custom home. It is one of the most exciting parts of construction because homeowners can finally see their plans taking shape.

Goforth Custom Builders builds custom homes throughout Hallsville and East Texas with each project tailored to the homeowner, property, and design.

Before the walls, roof, cabinets, or flooring, there is the foundation.

Careful preparation at this stage creates the base for the rest of the custom home and helps ensure the project begins with the right footprint and layout.

At Goforth Custom Builders, quality construction starts with attention to the parts of the home that may eventually be hidden but remain important for years to come.

The structure creates the home. The finishes give it personality.

Flooring, cabinetry, hardware, fixtures, colors, and other interior selections all work together to create the final look and feel of a custom build.
Goforth Custom Builders helps homeowners move from construction to completion with details that complement the overall design rather than feeling like afterthoughts.
