We have made an event page for the volunteer work this weekend, May 2nd and 3rd. If you can only make 1 day that is no problem. We can use all the help we can get! You dont have to be experienced in whats being done or have any tools, all we need is you. Its for an amazing gentleman redoing the siding on his home. Sometimes the jobs that matter most aren’t the biggest ones.
A kind lady reached out because her front steps had become unsafe, making it hard for her to get in and out of her home. She already had most of what was needed, so we grabbed the remaining materials and rebuilt the steps for her — free of charge.
Proud of the work, but even more proud to make a difference.

Anchor & Oak is currently finding people in need and figuring out solutions for these individuals. Good people that physically cannot undertake tasks that need to be done for the well being of their home, or the convenience of everyday life.

I need to get this in front of the right people. There’s a man who has fought through more adversity than most of us will ever see. Two decades in law enforcement. A career-ending wreck. A prosthetic leg. And still one of the most solid, genuine people you’ll ever meet.

He has the materials. He has the tools. He knows exactly how to do the job. What he doesn’t have is the physical ability to finish it alone. He’s been trying to get help for over a year, reaching out to everyone he thought he could count on.

If you’re the type of person who believes in stepping up when someone good needs a hand, reach out. He deserves that much

Im looking for 5-10 volunteers to help take off old siding and put new siding on this mans home. You don’t have to have the knowledge for the job, just the grit and want to help someone. Please be the type of person to help, not just be there for the honor.

We are looking to do this May 2nd and 3rd. May only take 1 day if we have enough people to help.
