Heavy Equipment Accelerated Training is a virtual environment that introduces students to a career in Heavy Equipment. Our simulator based awareness camp was developed to address the mismatch of supply and demand of workers specifically in the energy and transportation business sectors. Campers virtually operate a Motor Grader, Hydraulic Excavator, B

ulldozer, Off-Highway Truck to name a few. Familiarization and Operational modules move the students through the following:

Jackson-Dowe Strategies launches their 2016 summer H.E.A.T. (Heavy Equipment Accelerated Training) Camp. During this week long camp students received intro to OSHA10, PA One Call training, a 4-year flagger certification, toured an active construction site on the PA Turnpike. In addition, students spent time on simulators and learned the operations of heavy equipment, specifically the bulldozer, the motor grader, excavator, and off-road heavy truck.
