Today, we pause as a company to honor the life of an extraordinary man, a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran, a Fire Department Captain, and above all, a true leader and mentor.
His life was defined by service, grit, and an unwavering commitment to something bigger than himself. From his time serving our country in Vietnam to rising through the ranks of the fire department at such a young age, he carried a level of discipline, courage, and determination that set the standard for everyone around him.
He wasn’t just respected, he was someone people looked up to. Someone who led from the front, who showed others what it meant to serve with purpose, and who never wavered in the face of adversity.
For our team, his impact runs even deeper. He was one of the driving forces behind the path to service after 9/11 — encouraging that the first step toward success was serving your country. That mindset helped shape a journey into becoming not just a firefighter, but a leader within the community.
That kind of influence doesn’t fade. It lives on in the values he instilled, the people he guided, and the example he set every single day.
We extend our deepest condolences to the family during this time. We are grateful for his service, his leadership, and the legacy he leaves behind.
