Come see us at Hickory Farmers Market tomorrow AM! We will be featuring some apples from the orchard where our sheep are currently grazing! Our grazing partnership with Parker's Orchard is mutually beneficial… our sheep help clear the grass between the trees, and the trees get fertilized by the sheep! 🍎 🐑 🌱

Wow, Hickory!! You guys really love some meatballs! 🤭😋

We gave out 288 meatball samples (that’s 24 dozen!! 🤯) today at the special edition Hickory Farmers Market! Thanks to our wonderful crew, foodie friends, and excellent market managers for making the 1st ever meatball sampling a great success! And we really enjoyed all of the other wonderful foods featured at the too!!

We plan to feature samples more often at our booth to showcase local pasture-based meat and egg producers and allow folks the rare opportunity to sample different meats side by side. We have lots of ideas up our sleeves, so stay tuned! (We may even feature soy marinated duck eggs at some point, too…)

Thanks to Free Folk Pastures, Eyrie Summit Farm, Beam Family Farm, and of course the animals of Magpie Hollow Farm for their generosity providing the ground meats I used to make this happen!
