It seems as though there isn’t enough time in the day to get to work on my own stuff lately. I recently got the subframe back from the powdercoater, so I figured it was a good time to drop the swap in to mock everything up. There’s a few events in November that I’d like to attend, we’ll see how everything plays out!

The turbo J-series Del Sol is nearing completion! Got the cold side piping knocked out, which was crazy tight, but we made it work. Also finished up the coolant pipes, so the cooling system is complete. Next up, exhaust!

You learn more from your losses, than you do your wins. Shortly after testing two step, the engine in the EP3 developed a knock. Unfortunately we found that cylinder 4 rod decided it was time to retire. Thankfully we caught it early. Now we’ll take this opportunity to upgrade the clutch, and turn it up after replacing the rod.

Today was a day of custom fabrication projects. There isn’t an aftermarket wheel speed sensor bracket option available for the EP3 Civic chassis, so I took it upon myself to make one.

The factory throttle cable bracket is less than ideal and points the cable up towards the hood, so a new throttle cable bracket was made that’s more streamline and routes the cable down along the transmission.

We’ve finally got the fabrication on the Accord SiR wrapped up! A/C friendly downpipe, and full 3” exhaust utilizing Vibrant Performance muffler and resonator as always! This car is pretty low, so I had to get creative and try to tuck the exhaust as high as possible. Super happy with the outcome! Video in the comments!
