Meet Nick 👋

Nick lives on 60 acres outside Fort Worth with his wife and two young kids. But after Winter Storm Uri left his family without electricity for six days, he knew he needed reliable home battery backup power without a crazy price tag.

"When the power goes out in the middle of the night, everything- the AC, fans, my kids' sound machines—goes off. Everybody wakes up in the house, including myself." — Nick

That’s where Octopus PowerStore comes in.

Instead of dropping $10,000+ upfront on a traditional home generator, Nick secured $0 upfront, battery-backed energy independence. Now, a 2 am Texas grid blip doesn't turn into a whole household waking up in the dark.

Global Octo-fam, this one’s for you 🐙 ⚡

Coming to the U.S. during the tournament? We want to see you do the most wonderfully, ridiculously, unmistakably American thing possible.

Cowboy hats? Giant snacks? Roadside attractions? A hot dog the size of your forearm? We’re sat for it.

Post your most American moment, tag us at and and we’ll pick our 5 favorites to win a Texas-sized American care package, lovingly stuffed with U.S. goodies.

We’ll also be reposting our favorite entries throughout the tournament, because sharing the chaos is very much part of the fun.

Watch the video for the details, then go forth and yeehaw responsibly 🤠
