Recently, our Performance Optimization team spent time across the Permian working alongside experienced drillers on multiple rig types and control systems. Rather than a traditional classroom training, these conversations happened in real time during active operations.
From the driller's cabin, the Driller manages drilling equipment, monitors real-time well conditions, and coordinates the rig floor crew to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Every decision plays a role in performance and communication to keep the well on track.
