Things You Should Know This Hurricane Season: WHAT TO KEEP ON HAND
- You should have three days’ worth of supplies on hand in case of an emergency.
- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommends keeping at least one gallon of water per day per person in your household.
- You’ll also want to collect a battery-powered radio, flashlight, first aid kit, moist towelettes, garbage bags, a can opener, maps, and toiletries.
- Keep medications and other necessities in a safe place.
