The U.S. does not have a Switzerland-style public bunker network with enough hardened bomb shelters for an entire state, much less the whole country. Federal guidance is built much more around alerts, evacuation, sheltering in existing buildings, local safe rooms, and disaster response, not nationwide blast shelters for the general population. �🇺🇸

For nuclear or radiological incidents, current federal public guidance is basically: get inside the nearest sturdy building, stay inside, and follow official alerts. That guidance itself shows the system relies heavily on existing buildings and emergency messaging rather than preassigned public bunkers. �🇺🇸
