Summer is here and we are seeing the usual issues that could have been prevented by a regular maintenance on your ac system….
You Need maintenance… You Want maintenance!!
Drain lines need to be vacuumed out every Spring to avoid becoming backed up and causing water damage to ceilings which could become water logged and fall…. costing thousands and causing heartache! See the pic below of a fallen ceiling!
A simple maintenance (Done Correctly) will help to Greatly avoid that Heartache.
Let me say that Bleach is NOT the way to cure a drain line! That is the old antiquated way of dealing with drain lines and it was the wrong way from the get go…
Bleach is a very harsh chemical that will destroy metals…. Your Evaporator coil is full of metal!
And think where that bleach goes… down the drain into the plumbing….. Very bad for our water system and environment.
The drain line needs to vacuumed out properly underneath the bathroom sink!
We vacuum the drain line on each and every maintenance call and as a result, we have very few drain line call backs! Almost non-existent call backs!
Cleaning the condenser coils is another must in the Spring. They need to be flushed with water so they can transfer heat efficiently and to the max.
And last but not least…. Change those filters!!!
A dirty filter will cause mayhem as well and can wreck your system and cause a multitude of problems! High electricity bills, poor cooling, no cooling, dirty evaporators, dirty blowers, etc…

We know no one wants to replace their Air Conditioning system….
But….. In our parts it’s a necessity around here!
With that said.
The Air Conditioning Manufacturers (All of them… Trane, American Standard, Carrier, Lennox, Goodman and the rest) are implementing another price increase on equipment this month at around 6-8% price increase. This is on top of the price increase given at the start of this year at 6-8%!
Tariffs are the reason we hear this time.
We did have a price reduction this year from our American Standard dealer on Ameristar Equipment and in this day and age…. that’s like a dinosaur. It just doesn’t happen.
We have been told that even the Ameristar equipment will receive a price increase soon….
Why are we telling you this??
Because, if you have an old system that you know needs replacing…. NOW is the time to get a system at a lower price BEFORE the price goes up!
We don’t like it anymore than you don’t like it, but it’s what the industry is dealing with.
Ameristar IS American Standard!
Same compressor, same motors, same parts and same warranty backed by American Standard!
We have sold tons of Ameristar and it truly is a great product at a cheaper price.
We urge you to be proactive and get the lower price now, before it goes up….

At 32 Below Inc. we use only the best quality capacitors!
Amrad capacitors are made in the U.S.A.
And have an American Flag on all 4 sides of the box they come in.
Why does that matter?
Because they are made with a heavier oil and metal inside which withstands the ambient heat and mechanical heat the condenser produces.
Once we replace your capacitor with an Amrad capacitor…. Odds are you may never have to replace that capacitor again!
Capacitors made in China, Thailand and Mexico use thinner oil and metal and 100% do not last.
Do ours cost more…. Yes they do.
