Our core management team carries over 100+ years of Eagle Ford, Austin Chalk and Woodbine experience from Laredo to College Station.

Utilizing well known power sections from top tier providers such as Abaco and PV, combined with our in-house MWD assets, we’ve drilled nearly 500 wells for major operators with a successful run rate of 97% company wide.

Patriot Drilling Services has addressed some of the toughest challenges operators face such as HPHT and 350F+ Bottom Hole Temperatures, all while maintaining best-in-class customer service.

POV: Our COO, Landon Lyons, displays his passion, expertise and genuine love for this industry at all times - even his vehicles are Patriot Strong!

License Plate 1: MKNHOLE = “Making Hole” - a polite term used to describe a busy day of fast drilling.
“Hey Bubba what are you guys doing at the job site today?”
“Oh we’re making hole.”

License Plate 2: SIDTRKT = “Sidetracked” - when a well is intentionally deviated to avoid some type of downhole obstacle.
The ability to successfully side track wells is a bragging right or point of pride amongst drillers.
“We’ve got a nasty loss zone we’re dealing with. Lets pump a cement plug and call Patriot to get us sidetracked."

One of the biggest challenges in high temperature environments like the Eagle Ford is motor fits.

When temperature gradients are in excess of 100F from KOP to TD (250f-350f), utilizing the right tools and motor fits are key components to successful 1-run curve/laterals.

Patriot continues to deliver repeatable performance in HPHT applications across the basin!
