On a manufacturing floor, the right eyewash location does not always line up with the nearest plumbing.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to represent Encon Safety Products at Motion Industries Customer Appreciation Day in Sulphur, Louisiana.

It was a good setting to connect with attendees and share more about Encon’s emergency shower and eyewash products, PPE, and safety solutions for demanding work environments.

For EHS and facility teams, summer is a reminder to look beyond the obvious.

Outdoor emergency shower and eyewash stations may be visible, accessible, and properly located, but heat exposure can still create a hidden readiness issue inside the system itself. Standing water in exposed piping can rise in temperature before the equipment is ever used.
