TEXAS: A condo tower in Austin had one of their primary 400 ton chillers fail during the month of May. Rather than paying the costly repair bills, they opted to replace this 30-year-old machine with a new Daikin magnetic bearing chiller. With its superior efficiency and ability to meet building load at full and part load conditions, the owner will start seeing instant payback.

Each 100+ ton unit had to be lifted over the roof of the building, so the tallest crane in Austin was secured to complete the job.
