As a contractor doing highest-end luxury buildouts in Houston, we see this EVERY DAY — the labor pool is thin, good people are rare, and employers who want to scale are hitting a wall.

So here’s what I want to hear from you:

Do you believe there’s really a skilled labor shortage — or is it just that wages, training, and respect haven’t kept up?

What’s the single most important incentive (higher pay, benefits, career path, training) that would make you choose trade work over “desk jobs”?

I’ll go first: In our field, clear paths for growth + top-dollar pay + giving work stability would attract a lot of people who are currently in other jobs just for security.

Houston, TX get ready for an incredible shopping experience unlike any other store in the Houston Area. Primark is 40,000 sf. It will be jam packed with great values for Houston.

Why in the world would a person not consider a career in the trades. It’s complete insanity to think that every person must and needs to go to college to be successful.

Remote college in 2020 didn't work for Jacob Palmer. “It felt very intangible, is the best way that I have found to say it ... It didn’t work for me. I hated it.”
