Carlos Campos, our project manager, Kyle Jenkins, our SSHO, and the project team started another scope of work this morning after a successful preparatory meeting with the Army Corps of Engineers. This operation encompassed mobilizing our Marine package to the Island in the Houston Ship Channel to Placement Island 14 to repair a damaged section of an existing levee using the stabilized soil method mixed with approved lime. The crew has been working hard non-stop and taking advantage of this dry weather we've been getting during this 2023 Hurricane season.

This bright and talented young man has completed his final day here for the 2023 season. Jacob Kachich is returning to college to complete his study for his Mechanical Engineering degree. Jacob started with TXD as a flagger back in 2019. He progressed into different roles throughout his short four seasonal internships thus far. He went from being a flagger to general labor, to rod-man, to a field surveyor, to a CAD tech, IT personnel, Estimating Dept. take-off technician, and completing this year as a Feild Engineer. The team here at Texas Dewatering will miss him.
