Back to School Means Back to Safety Awareness

August is here, and students have headed back to the classroom. To mark the start of the 2026-2027 school year, a few of our Oilfield Services employees shared first-day-of-school photos with us. This is also a great time to remind everyone to make a concerted effort to help keep students safe.

Roads are busier in the mornings and afternoons with school buses, crosswalk traffic, and children walking, biking, and riding scooters to and from school. Please remember that children may not always be visible or predictable, especially near school zones and neighborhood streets.

✅ Slowdown in school zones
✅ Stay alert at crosswalks and intersections
✅ Watch for children riding bikes and scooters
✅ Avoid distractions behind the wheel
✅ Give yourself extra time during the school commute

A few extra moments of attention can make all the difference. As drivers, we can never be too careful when children are nearby.

Wishing everyone a safe and successful school year!

Let’s all do our part to stay alert, slow down, and help students get to and from school safely.

On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the United States of America will mark 250 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence—a historic milestone that invites us to reflect on where we have been, honor the people and ideas that shaped our nation, and look ahead to the future we will build together.

At Innospec Oilfield Services, we are proud to be part of an industry and a country built on hard work, innovation, resilience, and service. As we celebrate America’s semi quincentennial, we also celebrate the families, communities, customers, and colleagues who continue to move our country forward every day.

This anniversary is more than a moment to remember our history. It is a reminder of our shared responsibility to support one another, strengthen our communities, and help shape a future defined by opportunity, progress, and unity.

From our Innospec Oilfield Services family to yours, we wish you a safe, meaningful, and memorable Independence Day as we honor 250 years of American history and look forward to the generations ahead.

Celebrating the dads who guide us, inspire us, and work hard every day to help build a brighter future. ✨

Today, we want to take a moment to honor the incredible fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures across our company and within our community of valued partners.

Being a dad means wearing many hats—teacher, coach, protector, and biggest cheerleader. The dedication you show to your families inspires us, and the impact you have on shaping the next generation is truly immeasurable. Thank you for your hard work, your guidance, and the quiet sacrifices you make every day.

Whether you’re spending the day casting a line, firing up the backyard grill, or simply relaxing with the people who call you “Dad,” we hope your day is filled with the appreciation you deserve.

From all of us at Innospec Oilfield Services, we wish our amazing employees and valued partners a fantastic and well-deserved Father’s Day! 👨‍👧‍👦✨

Innospec Oilfield Services has proudly supported Infant Crisis Services through volunteer efforts twice per year for nearly a decade—and 2026 is no exception.

On June 11, Jessica Summers, Kelly Talbert, Eddie Brown, and Brian Braun volunteered at Infant Crisis Services in Oklahoma City, packing 4,840 diapers to help support 121 babies in need.

In Oklahoma, 1 in 5 babies lives in poverty. Founded in 1984 by Miki Farris and her Sunday School class at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Infant Crisis Services provides diapers, formula, clothing, and other essential items to ensure no baby goes hungry.

If you or your organization are interested in supporting this impactful charity, we encourage you to learn more and get involved: https://infantcrisis.org.

Summer is officially here for many of us, and that means rising temperatures.

For those working outdoors—especially our colleagues and partners spending long hours in the oilfield—staying hydrated is not just important; it is critical for health and safety.

Working in extreme heat can quickly lead to dehydration, heat exhaustion, or even heatstroke. These conditions can be life-threatening. Take proactive steps to protect yourself and those around you:

✅Drink water frequently: Don’t wait until you feel thirsty. Sip water consistently throughout the day, even if you don’t feel overheated.

✅Use electrolyte drinks when needed: During long hours in the heat, water alone may not be enough. Replenish essential salts and minerals with electrolyte-rich beverages.

✅Take regular breaks: Step out of direct sunlight and into the shade or an air-conditioned space whenever possible.

✅Dress appropriately: Light-colored, loose-fitting clothing can help your body regulate its temperature more effectively.

⚠️Know the warning signs: Watch for symptoms of dehydration and heat-related illness, such as dizziness, nausea, headache, and excessive sweating—or a lack of sweating. If you or a coworker experiences these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.

1️⃣Your well-being comes first. Let’s work together to keep everyone safe, cool, and hydrated this summer. Please share this message to help spread awareness.

Blood donations are essential for hospitals, trauma centers, cancer patients, and individuals with chronic illnesses who may need regular transfusions. Summer can be a challenging time for blood centers, as donations often decline due to vacations, school breaks, and extreme heat—even while patient needs remain steady.

That’s why we’re so proud of our South Texas team in Pleasanton, TX, for holding their quarterly blood drive on Thursday, June 5, 2026. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, 8 units were collected—enough to potentially impact up to 24 lives.
A big thank you to James Turnes, Jeff Rankin, Brian Bear, Steve Guiterrez, Jerry Nandin, Margarito Nieto, and Sarah Reed for donating and helping support our communities.

Every donation matters—consider giving blood and making a difference in your community.
