Cheniere is proud to recognize Women’s History Month, honoring the contributions of women and their allies throughout history and today.

To help celebrate, and with the support of our Women Inspiring and Leading Success (WILS) employee resource group and more than 30 employees across our two liquefaction facilities in Louisiana and Texas, we are sponsoring and participating in key community events designed to introduce students to opportunities in energy, industry and STEM careers. These include the recently held 2026 Coastal Bend Women in Industry Career and Education Expo in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the SWLA Women in Industry event in Sulphur, La., with a similar event set for Southeast Texas later this month.

In Houston, Cheniere was proud to again sponsor the annual Women in Leadership Conference held recently at Rice University, where our very own Nish*ta Singh, vice president and general manager of Corpus Christi Liquefaction, featured on a leadership panel and SanJuanita Elizondo, senior specialist, IT Enterprise Data and Analytics, shared an overview of our company. Additionally, our headquarters employees enjoyed an engaging discussion with Houston City Council Member Twila Carter, a longtime business and community leader.

We were honored to host U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright at our Corpus Christi Liquefaction facility in Texas earlier this week, as we celebrate 10 years of LNG exports.

More than 200 Cheniere employees were on hand to greet Secretary Wright, who also toured our world-class facility with Cheniere President and CEO Jack Fusco and other company leadership.

Secretary Wright thanked our skilled and dedicated workforce for the crucial role they play every single day in unleashing American energy and driving economic growth – at home and around the world.

He also signed the export authorization for our latest expansion project at Corpus Christi, CCL Midscale Trains 8 & 9, allowing for more Cheniere-produced LNG to reach countries and customers around the world for decades to come.

Cheniere is celebrating 10 years of LNG exports! 🎉 🎉 🎉

On Feb. 24, 2016, we loaded and exported our first LNG cargo from our Sabine Pass Liquefaction terminal in Louisiana, launching a new era for our company, as well as U.S. and global energy markets.

One decade and nearly 5,000 cargoes later, our commitment to safety, our people, customers and communities is stronger than ever.

Today, Cheniere is the largest producer and exporter of LNG in the U.S. and a global energy leader. And we are just getting started.

We thank our dedicated global workforce, customers, suppliers, EPC contractor Bechtel Corporation, regulatory agencies, financial stakeholders and community partners for their continued support.

We celebrate Black History Month by reflecting on the achievements and remarkable contributions of African Americans and by supporting our communities. This February, Cheniere volunteers returned to Olivewood Cemetery, Houston’s first incorporated African American cemetery, to assist local non-profit Descendants of Olivewood in revitalizing this historic site.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Cheniere!

Ahead of the holiday, we teamed up with the Astros Foundation and the Houston Food Bank for the annual Books & Birds event, where Houstonians received turkeys, side dishes and books to celebrate Thanksgiving. The event has distributed more than 2,500 turkeys and thousands of children’s books since 2021.

This and every Veterans Day, Cheniere honors the courage, sacrifice and dedication of all who have served.

Last week, our Military and Veterans Network employee resource group hosted Eric Potterat, PhD, a clinical and performance psychologist, retired U.S. Navy Commander and author of “Learned Excellence,” who shared insights with Cheniere employees on resilience and excellence in service and leadership.

Our employee veterans were also recognized for their service with challenge coins, which were presented at flagpole ceremonies across our sites.

At Cheniere, we strive to be an employer of choice for military veterans.

Nearly 20 volunteers from Cheniere spent a recent afternoon revitalizing a local park before co-hosting a soccer clinic at another as part of Cheniere's longtime support of the Houston Parks - HPARD.

A dozen volunteers revitalized Mason Park in East Houston, clearing tree limbs, mulching and repainting benches. A few miles away, another group of volunteers co-hosted a soccer clinic for local youth at Milby Park, complete with drills and scrimmages.

This week, about two dozen Cheniere employees volunteered their time to help revitalize the home of a U.S. Army veteran and long-time Houston resident with Rebuilding Juntos, an initiative of Rebuilding Together Houston that celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month.

Rebuilding Together Houston provides major repairs that improve the safety and stability of homes at no cost to homeowners. Cheniere volunteers put the finishing touches on the project, including painting the home’s exterior.

Cheniere underwrote the cost of the repairs as part of a $50,0000 donation to Rebuilding Together Houston for its Rebuilding Juntos initiative.
