How's about a construction lesson? Ever heard of a frieze (freeze) board? Well that's the board at the top of your siding, brick or other material, that helps keep moisture from running down the back of the siding. Its use goes back to Greco Roman times. Here we see a separated frieze board and why it has separated. The foundation has cracked leading to the wall cracking, and shifting leading to the frieze board separating. If you see this around your home run to contact me asap. An inspection by an expert is necessary.
