Looking for a summer job or long-term job? We are currently accepting full time and/or seasonal applications for Construction Laborers & Operators. Koch’s Telecommunication is looking for motivated employees who enjoy working outdoors to join our team! Experience within the telecommunications or utility construction industries is helpful, however we will train motivated and eager to learn individuals.
Koch’s Telecommunication is an underground and aerial utility contractor specializing in: Plowing, Trenching, Directional Drilling, Rodding, Manhole & Conduit Placement & Repair, Fiber Installation and Splicing. We are a small family owned and run business in the industry since 1985. Our work is located in Wisconsin with the majority of work in the central regions.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
• Work as part of a crew on tasks such as digging trenches, cable handling and site restoration
• Perform work in a quality manner
• Complete daily pre and post-operational checks and basic maintenance on the equipment
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards
• Safely operating various equipment – backhoe, trencher, drill rigs, hydrovac
• Perform general laborer duties
Qualifications
• Must have valid driver’s license or transportation to and from job sites
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the positions
• Some travel may be required
• CDL is a plus or the ability to obtain – Additional $/hr pay

Starting pay rate varies from $18.00 - $25.00 / hour.
