As a team from Irondequoit, New York, a suburb of Rochester, the Eastridge Robotics, Team 3157, is excited to make a name for themselves in the FIRST Robotics Competition. Their main sponsor, Bausch & Lomb, consists of engineers mentoring the student members in multiple sub teams. There are roughly 30 students from Eastridge High School and 4 teachers from Eastridge's technology department. They m

eet Tuesday's and Thursday's from 4:00pm - 8:30pm and Saturday's from 9:00am - 5:00pm at Bausch & Lomb's 10,000 square foot work space, set up specifically for the FIRST experience.

During yesterdays and todays meeting we have been talking with possible sponsers, and with graphics companys for our trailer design. We started focusing on how we will go about programing, and building a robot design in inventor. Our next meeting will be held in the highschool at 8:00am until 2:00pm saturday.

EMERGENCY ALERT
There will be no robotics meeting today due to dangerous weather conditions.

Due to the possibility of hazardous conditions our robotics meeting tomorrow will be held an hour later, from 9am to 2 pm. Meetjng may be cancelled if weather becomes to dangerous.

Today during the meeting we had team members building mock ups of the robot. The media team discussed pins, sweatshirts, fundraisers and theme. The next robotics meeting will be held this saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
