Sometimes, the best way to recognize a hardworking crew is to fire up the grill and bring everyone together!

Our Great Plains project team recently took a well-deserved break for an Appreciation Lunch, bringing our crews together for some delicious food, good conversations, and a little time to celebrate the people behind the progress.

Building utility-scale energy projects takes dedication, teamwork, and countless hours in the field.

And while project milestones are worth celebrating, so are the people who make them possible.

A big thank you to everyone at Great Plains for the hard work, commitment to safety, and team spirit you bring to the jobsite every day.

📸 Check out a few highlights from the celebration!

Today marks the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, an observance with direct relevance to our industry and our workforce.

The data underscores why preparedness matters: the United States recorded 12 billion-dollar weather disasters in the first half of 2026 alone, resulting in at least 183 lives lost. Since 1980, the nation has experienced 438 such events — a frequency that has grown from roughly three per year in the 1980s to more than twenty in recent years.

For Qcells EPC, whose teams work outdoors on utility-scale projects across the country, disaster risk reduction is not an annual observance. It is embedded in our daily operations.

This , the official 2026 theme is "Resilience Starts at Home," serving as a powerful reminder that disaster resilience is built long before a hazard strikes.

This project tells the full story in one place: American assembled modules from our Georgia facilities, self-perform EPC ex*****on, and a local workforce that powered 700+ jobs at peak with over 70% sourced right from the region.

We’re proud of the teams who turned this vision into operating energy infrastructure, and excited to see Black Hollow Sun powering Colorado for years to come.

Congratulations to everyone who helped bring Black Hollow Sun I & II across the finish line.

Now THIS is what we call a power shot.

For this week’s , Mother Nature decided to add a little electricity of her own to the jobsite. 🌩️

Our teams work against some pretty incredible backdrops, and every once in a while, someone captures a moment that stops us mid-scroll.

Severe weather is also a reminder of why situational awareness and preparedness are critical in the field.

When lightning and storms approach, our teams follow established weather protocols, communicate changing conditions, and prioritize getting people to safety.

Because no photo, schedule, or milestone comes before sending everyone home safely.

📸 Great timing. Incredible shot. Safety first…always.

When POLITICO wants to show readers the future of American solar manufacturing, they come to Cartersville, Georgia. 🇺🇸

Their recent feature steps inside our facility; where vertical integration, cutting-edge automation, and a skilled Bartow County workforce are bringing critical stages of the solar supply chain home.

For partners, a stronger domestic manufacturing base means more than panels made in America…

âś…Supply certainty

âś…Domestic content advantage

âś…Quality you can trace
.It means strengthening the supply chains behind the utility-scale projects we build, supporting greater project certainty, and connecting American manufacturing with the energy infrastructure being deployed across the country.

Site logistics update from the Armadillo Solar Project: several hundred pounds of school supplies, successfully delivered.

At our Armadillo Solar Project, members of the team organized a school supply drive to support students and teachers across Navarro County, Texas.

Thanks to the generosity of our team, backpacks, notebooks, pencils, classroom essentials, and more made their way from the project site to multiple local schools

We’re proud of the team for taking the initiative to make an impact beyond the job site and give back to the communities where we live and work.

Because some of the most meaningful things we build aren’t measured in megawatts.
