The 1107th Aviation Group had the privilege of hosting Spouse and Soldier Incentive Flights—an opportunity to showcase Army Aviation and strengthen the connection between our Soldiers, Families, and mission. For spouses, experiencing a flight firsthand provides a greater appreciation of the training, professionalism, and commitment required of our aviation teams while reinforcing the vital role Families play in our readiness and success. For Soldiers, incentive flights serve as a meaningful morale-building experience, recognizing outstanding performance and fostering pride in the capabilities of Army Aviation. Strong Soldiers, supported by informed and engaged Families, remain the foundation of a ready and resilient force.

What a day! 🚁 MONGA members on the move!

Yesterday, the 1107th Aviation Group welcomed Soldiers and spouses for Incentive Flights, giving them a chance to experience Army Aviation from a whole new perspective.

For spouses, taking to the skies offered a firsthand look at the training, professionalism and teamwork that go into every mission, while highlighting the important role military families play in supporting readiness.

For Soldiers, the flights served as a well-earned reward, recognizing outstanding performance and building pride in the capabilities of Army Aviation.
Experiences like these strengthen the bond between Soldiers, families and the mission—because a ready force starts with strong support at home.

Just a moment please - Today is a “holiday.” And if “they”, our fallen heroes, were here they would want to be doing the same thing; getting together with family and friends. They would revel in a chance to hug, grill, relax, play with their kids, kiss their spouse, etc. But since they cannot, they would request just a moment of your time on your long “holiday” weekend. A moment to remember why you are free, a moment to respect the flag – the flag they sacrificed all for, a moment to pause and pray for this country you live in and to pray for their families, the families they left behind. Just a moment to remember. Memorial Day is a day to remember. They would not ask for you to be somber all the day through for they too would want to enjoy, relax, unwind, smile and play. All they would ask is for you to remember with just a moment of your time, to stop and say a prayer that would hopefully teach the next generation why we are remembering so no one would ever forget why they gave their all. Thank you for remembering. This is why Memorial day is a Memorial. Lest we forget...

The National Guard Relief Act will officially recognize the National Guard Relief Fund (NGRF) as the relief society for the National Guard. This recognition would help expand awareness across the Guard community, strengthen support for Soldiers and Airmen in need, and open new opportunities for the Foundation to better serve Guard families.

We loved seeing you all gathered at the Annual Conference last weekend!

From the golf tournament swings (some better than others),to the mixer, vendor booths, costumes that understood the assignment, great guest speakers, and a banquet to wrap it all up, this weekend definitely kept us busy.
