Lately we’ve been taking our tile shower benches to a different level with these solid granite or quartz bench tops.

We bolt coated metal brackets directly to the house framing. Then waterproof and tile around the brackets. And finally form mitered granite and adhere them to the brackets.

No grout, no cracked tile.

Our basement buildout has come to a successful completion.

Anytime you walk into a situation where you’re trying to build around existing ducts, plumbing, and other obstacles…you have to think outside of the box.

Our solution was to create a series of trays in the ceilings to disguise these challenges, which also helped us preserve ceiling height.

This basement features a full bathroom and walk-in shower, home theatre, large recreation space, two bedrooms, a space for a golf simulator, and a space prepared for a future kitchen.

We’re wrapping up one of our basement projects this week and we had the unique opportunity to do something fun with the space under the stairs.

We knew our client wanted to use the space for their child’s toys, but we didn’t want to settle with just a basic mini-door.
